Assisi and Its Basilicas
A suggested itinerary can include Santa Maria degli Angeli, the historic center, Santa Chiara and the Basilica of Saint Francis. Tell us which places matter most to you so we can plan the day around your interests.

Pickup in Rome and Arrival in Assisi
Your driver meets you at your hotel, apartment or another agreed address in Rome. Send your accommodation address in Assisi so we can arrange drop-off at the property or the closest suitable access point.
We can also arrange pickup at Fiumicino Airport, in the public arrivals area after customs with a name sign, or at Civitavecchia Cruise Port, directly in front of your ship. Include your flight or cruise details when requesting a quote.
Let us know whether your destination is in the upper town, Santa Maria degli Angeli or the surrounding countryside.
Plan a Private Day Trip to Assisi
Add a Stop in Orvieto
Combine Assisi with time in Orvieto before returning to Rome. This makes a longer day: the additional driving, visit duration and final return time are agreed in advance.
The order and scope of visits depend on your schedule and access on the day. Tell us if you would like a lunch break, time for prayer or a more relaxed pace.
Chauffeur Service and Private Guiding
Your chauffeur takes care of the road journey and agreed meeting points. An official private guide for your visit can be arranged separately on request.
Your quote will specify the transport, waiting time, guiding and any requested admission arrangements. A one-way transfer does not automatically include sightseeing, driver waiting time or a return to Rome.
If anyone has mobility needs, please tell us before booking so we can discuss walking distances, suitable vehicle access points and the pace of the visit.
Your Vehicle and Luggage
We arrange a Mercedes sedan or van reserved for your party. Send your passenger count and the exact number of large suitcases and smaller bags, including oversized items.
Please include children’s ages and any child-seat requirements. For an overnight stay, we can also quote a return transfer from Assisi to Rome on a different date.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we visit Assisi and return to Rome the same day?
Yes. Request a day trip and tell us your preferred visits, whether you would like a lunch break and any required return time. We will plan the schedule with both drives included.
Can we visit Santa Maria degli Angeli as well as the upper town?
Yes. Mention both in your request so we can include the necessary stops and agree on the visit order and meeting points.
Is a private guide included?
Guiding is a separate service that can be arranged on request. Your quote will clearly state whether a private guide and any admission arrangements are included.
Can we add Orvieto or another Umbrian town?
Yes, subject to the available schedule. Orvieto, Spoleto or another requested stop can be considered as part of a custom itinerary, with additional driving and visiting time.
Can you pick us up at the airport or cruise port?
Yes. Send your flight or ship details and final destination. If you need to return to a ship, include the required boarding time so we can assess whether the itinerary fits your available time.
What information do you need for a quote?
Send your travel date, pickup and destination addresses, passenger count and luggage details. Specify a one-way transfer or return journey, preferred visits, any guide request and any fixed appointments.
